Tony Books Avilez, CSCS, has distinguished himself as a top notch fitness advisor and lifestyle coach. He has been recognized as one of the nation's top fitness trainers. He is certified as a Medical Exercise Specialist by The American Academy of Health, Fitness & Rehabilitation Specialists. Tony has certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer and the American Council on Exercise as a Health Coach.

He is certified as a nutritional consultant by American Fitness Professionals & Associates. He also possesses the prestigious Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

He is the author of 5 books on health and fitness and has appeared in national periodicals such as Flex Magazine and Oxygen Magazine.

Tony is also the creator of The Annual Staten Island Slim Down program.

Tony and his lovely wife, Kimiko, have been married since 2004 and are proud parents of one son, Antonio.

 

 




Raquel Pronesti Oechsner has had an interest in fitness since childhood.   Thanks to her parents, she was involved in recreational sports such as ice skating and biking as well as team sports including basketball, softball, swimming and volleyball. Deciding to become a personal trainer was her way of combining her true passions: teaching and fitness. She holds a Master's Degree in Education and a Post Graduate Degree in School Administration.   Raquel is a W.I.T.S Certified Personal Trainer with specialty certifications in TRX Suspension Training and Fitness Coaching.
